I have a new hobby...OK, confession -- its not really new, I've done this b/f (its just not normally documented).
I like to visit the cemetery!
I used to be creeped out by them, but in the past several years, I've come to the conclusion that they're alright, and kind of interesting actually.
In fact, sometime last semester I hung out in one with several friends...too bad we didn't have a camera, but we did have fun! It was a Jewish cemetery that time.
I like visiting old ones, or the ones that have huge markers that you can hide behind. Kind of weird...I know.

So 100 points to whomever knows who's door this is w/o checking to see. (and no, the points don't actually do anything for you...)

Accidental adoption
Does anyone besides me find it odd that you can adopt a virtual baby? We live in a weird day and age...
I stumbled onto this website called www.cyberinfants.com and couldn't help but try to figure it out...(yes, I was bored!)
Now I am ap[parent]ly the loving mother of two seemingly healthy children...(wow that happened fast!)
Allow me to introduce Evie(baby #1)...
Click here to see gurlofgrace3's virtual baby.
and Kadesh(baby #2)!
Click here to see gurlofgrace3's virtual baby.
All this due to my stupid curiosity!
Now I have a dilemma...I "brought them into this world" so am I responsible if I neglect them?
I'm not ready to be a parent! (Especially if the kid is only going to go through about 30 secs of motion then continuously repeat them!!!)
I'm reaching out for virtual parenting advice...oh! and a virtual babysitter! Let me know if you're interested...and email me a list a your references.

Tears of a Clown

Standing -- painted and dried,
quite purposefully precried
baring his sorrow and woe.
Strategically placed --
emblazed on his face
spectators see feelings they know.
Symbolic though small –
expressing for all
those deeper feelings we hide.
Yet when it's all done,
the water will run,
the feelings fall back down inside.
He washes his face,
shoving cares into place,
straightening – standing – alright.
No more painted on frown,
as his feet walk the ground
stepping silently into the light.

Friends, Fun, and Freezing
Actually, it really wasn't all that freezing but I wanted the third F in there.
So tonight, technically last night I suppose, I went snow tubing at Perfect North with some friends...it was fun...but not freezing.
This outing included myself, Nichole, Leanna, Brittany, Mary, Cortney, Valerie and her church posy.
We're all friends so Val invited us to have some fun...OK, I'll stop, sorry.
Anyway, here are some "after the actual tubing" pics since we opted to leave Doris in the car for most of the evening...
