Accidental adoption

Does anyone besides me find it odd that you can adopt a virtual baby? We live in a weird day and age...

I stumbled onto this website called www.cyberinfants.com and couldn't help but try to figure it out...(yes, I was bored!)
Now I am ap[parent]ly the loving mother of two seemingly healthy children...(wow that happened fast!)

Allow me to introduce Evie(baby #1)...

Click here to see gurlofgrace3's virtual baby.

and Kadesh(baby #2)!

Click here to see gurlofgrace3's virtual baby.

All this due to my stupid curiosity!

Now I have a dilemma...I "brought them into this world" so am I responsible if I neglect them?
I'm not ready to be a parent! (Especially if the kid is only going to go through about 30 secs of motion then continuously repeat them!!!)

I'm reaching out for virtual parenting advice...oh! and a virtual babysitter! Let me know if you're interested...and email me a list a your references.

You are officially retarded, and the worst virtual parent ever. You named your kid kadesh! a mii this I can allow but a virtual child? what next a dog? a real baby? Where will it stop!!!

Well, you always wanted to adopt. Unforunately for you these kids are not the Chinese kids you wanted and unforunately for them you have HORRIBLE names! Please, do name your kids normal names in real life.

So if I adopt a virtual child and then decide to be a horrible scum-bag and leave it sitting on a street corner (or somewhere worse)... Will you adopt it? As heartless as I might be, I would at least like to know that the child I neglected is being taken care of.

You really should get a hobby. No, another one. :D

Stanton: Of course I'd adopt it...I always have more room on my blog...er, in my heart, for another virtual child.
And as far as a hobby goes, I'm sure you're right!

Britt: They're cute anyway...AND so are their names!!!

Issa: You never know you might end up marrying someone that likes that name!

When i randomly found your blog and this post I automatically went to the website. Very strange how you can "adopt a baby" online...it seems innocent, but oddly unnerving. I wonder if parents had to approve for teh use of their babies to be used on teh site...

I know! I thought the same thing when I was on the website. Who just "adopts out" their baby? Even if it is just a few second click...
